300 to 400 calories is WAY too few... if anyone disagrees, oh well... You should see a doctor and ask how many calories you should aim to eat to lose weight... They are the only ones who really know. Most people lose weight on 1,200 calories a day... see a dietitian or doctor would be my advice. :) Be well.
Are you talking 300-400 calories per meal (3 meals per day)? I hope so because you woun't be able to stick to 300 - 400 calories a day because your body is not built like that. People say that eating too few calories will put your body into starvation mode and will make your body fatter by storing the fats instead of burning them. Eating so few calorie is a dangerous game. Take it easy, don't be so hard on yourself. The saying goes you didn't put the weight on over night so you should expect to lose it over night either. I suggest eating about 1200-1500 calories pre day or look into a low carb plan and continue with the dance mat (sound like a fun exercise) and let us know how you make out. Good Luck!
how much are you planning on loseing? how tall are you? 112lbs isn't much unless you're a bit on the short side. i have to agree that that is too low amount to be eating for a total day's calories. you really shouldn't be going under 1200 total daily calories. if you want to burn more calories in a workout, pick up a taebo tape. i burn about 1200 calories for an hour of taebo and i'm 5'5" and 147 lbs...
i second the notions already posted. it is very important that you eat. believe it or not, eating is necessary to lose weight. the quality of the food you eat is very important, as is the quantity. are you keeping a journal to keep track of your food intake and exercise levels?
yes i am keeping a journal, i am always constantly counting calories and burning off food as soon as i eat something, i always feel guilty and fat. a little rice cake makes me feel really bloated.
um, yeah... thats an eating disorder. i was doing a very low cal diet a while ago and my stomach shrunk so much that if i ate something bigger than my fist it would hurt and id feel so crappy. very low cal diets are sometimes recommended by doctors for severely obese people in order to cut weight fast but if you only have a few lbs to go very low cal isnt the way. you will only end up reaching your goal, then crashing and bingeing. ive been through it so im only trying to advise you through my mistakes. :) april

i agree, it sounds like you're in the early/middle stages of an ed. if you want to talk about it, as one who's had an ed for four years...i'd be happy to talk to you about things in im or email, if you wish. http://pale-reflections.com is the one recovery site i know of that's really recommended by a friend of mine...there is also http://somethingfishy.org, but its perky, in your face, do it now type pushing makes a lot of people uncomfortable. http://break-her-down.org/famine is a good site on eds run by people i know.
