:) Hi everybody. Obviously I'm a newbie. Just wondering what you all do for exercise. On nice days I usually try to walk about 5 miles, but with the weather up here in NY it's been about 3 weeks of no walking. And the tie-bo kills me after a couple days. I would love to lose about 25 lbs. Any suggestions? Thanks


hi sam, i had the same problem that you have. it rains here seemingly every day. so the walks have been curtailed. i finally had enough and went out and joined ballys fitness. they have elliptical trainers which are truly outstanding devices to work out on. they have a very low impact on your knees and you can adjust the levels of workout. very nice after all. i dont know what the situation is in your area but I got the impression that they were willing to deal on price quite a bit and probably local clubs in your area are willing to also. since winter follows the rains it might be worth checking out a fitness club. welcome aboad!

I have been checking into joining a health club myself. The weather is going to get cold soon and I will become a couch potato.
