Does term 'high fiber cereal' make you think cardboard? If you don't enjoy eating high fiber cereal for breakfast, I recommend using it as a condiment! Sprinkle it on top of a salad, add it to yogurt for extra crunch, and use it in place of breadcrumbs in cooking. Just half a cup of high fiber cereal can provide as much as 13 grams of fiber, about half the recommended daily intake.

Great Idea. I should try that. i dont get enough fiber [color=blue:0ac8024565][u:0ac8024565][b:0ac8024565]Kiara[/b:0ac8024565][/u:0ac8024565][/color:0ac8024565]

The only way that I can eat Grape Nuts is to serve it on top of yogurt. :D Thanks for the tip! :)

Try the Kashi brands. I wasn't sure that they would be tasty, but sure enough they are GREAT! I love the GoLean crunch sprinkled in yogurt. They suggest eating it as a snack too, but I found I over ate on it and well ... too much fiber is NOT a good thing!!!

I eat a bowl of All-Bran every day for breakfast, and it doesn't taste that bad. It also has 40% of your daily fiber requirements, I think. Fiber helps loosen the stools and it is great for you in general. Other sources of fiber are fruits.

I haven't tried it, but my Dad swears by Kashi, too.
