It does not sound that healthy to me. I think that the reason that you drop the weight would be from not getting enough calories. Though i would not recomend it i am curius to see if it would work. Oh I know it doesn't sound healthy at all, but still... i know that you need to eat lots of proteins if you wanna loose weight, and sauerkraut is healthy, and milk contains proteins, so still... :-/ I don't know. It's fast so I'm the one who's really REALLY curious... But I can't try it out. :(
Make sure you have plenty of Gas-X! Your family might be "offended" on this diet. Eggs, Sauerkraut and Beef sounds horrible. A kilo is equal to 2.2 pounds of sauerkraut. For 2 days straight.

This sounds a tiny bit similar to the Cabbage Soup diet. And, of course, sauerkraut is made from cabbage. With this diet, one is eating a lot of protein, but almost no carbs. And I worry about the vitamin aspect. Plus, the food consumption seems low. If someone tries it, let us know how it was. :D

Ungh!! :( But if you're desperate and REALLY want to loose a pound or two, you can try. It says it's healthy and I really think it is. Plus, it doesn't last THAT long, does it?
it isn't that long. i would try it, but i'm not sure if the rest of the family would enjoy it :) no one else seems to want to "step up" either !!
No way would I even attempt that diet. I need to function every second of the day and I wouldn't be able to do that with that kind of fuel.
Sauerkraut is something I don't eat very often. My hometown has a kraut factory, and it always makes the air smell bad. Catsup and Sugar are made there, too.. so it always seems to have a "smell" in the air.
I would not be able to eat that many eggs in a week. Too much protein is a bad thing. There is a lot of salt content in saurkraut. On the whole I would not even attempt it. I read a background on hypothyroidism and it says to stay away from cabbage and high proteins. Your body cannot breakdown that much egg consumption. To think my heritage is Ukranian........ :lol:

I had to break it down…. 6 eggs = approximately 450 calories 2.2 lbs sauerkraut = approximately 220 calories 1.1 lbs beef = approximately 950 calories 7 cups milk = skim milk - approximately 602 calories or whole milk - approximately 1100 calories I live less then 2 miles away from a coco processing company! I always thought it was terrible because it made me crave chocolate. But I think a sauerkraut factory would be much worse!! My vote is for the yuck factor for this diet!
My sister has tried this diet .She did lose 4 lbs in 3 days, but we didn't like the "side effects" at all. Another thing is that the incredible amount of sulfuric acic made her breath horrible, so she had to quit after 4 days. If you want to loose 5-8 lbs quickly, try eating only fruit/ drinking fresh juice for 4-6 days , it is not perfectly healthy but it has less side efects, especially if you're concerned about your cholest. level.
