8O I hope that you do not mind a "dumpling" from down-under joining your support group? I finally got up the courage to weigh myself this morning and practically needed smelling salts to get over the shock of finding out that there was now an extra 15lbs of me, on top of the excess 35lbs that I already knew about. I have tried just about every diet over the years and have lost weight; but sooner or later I always find that weight again plus some more for good measure. If only I could be the weight that I was when I first started dieting (140lbs!). I am hoping that with your support, and writing in the on-line journal, I will keep focused on the weightloss journey I dearly want to make.

Welcome aboard! We sure can always use more dumplings in here. Mmmmm, dumplings! Now you made me hungry! JK.
If you are ready to start losing some weight, just make sure you go slow, do it right and don't stress yourself out too much in the meantime. Ultimately you want to achieve good health and not just temporarily lose some pounds.
