You are not the only one that is confused about how to tone the butt. I would like to know as well. Kiara
Leg Lifts are one exercise I know of. To do: Get on the floor on your elbows and knees. Lift up your leg and bend (90 Degrees) at the knee. Slowly press your foot up, squeezing at top. Repeat 8-12 times, and switch sides. Repeat. Add ankle weights to add resistance.. Hope this helps..

If your at a Gym you can try the Tsepper itreally is good and at home u can plunge/squat i dont know what u guys call it.. its like u tighten ur butt muscles and take big plunges fwd while keeping ur butt tight.. bending form the knee..? do u get me??

you can also do the same thing with a backed chair. face seat away from you, hold on to chair to help with balance, and lift your leg behind you, don't bend at the knee! squeeze on top. (think of ballet classes) add ankle weights to add resistance. repeat three sets of 12 per leg. this will help your booty :)
lunges are a great way to work the butt. Just stand up straight with both of your feet together. then reach one leg (lets say your right ) in front of you and bend down with you left knee almost hitting the floor. Then do the other side. Don't forget to keep your back straight!! If you want to make it harder jsut place weights in both of your hands. and beleive me you will feel it expically the next day!!
You're not kidding, Don. You'll be feeling that for a week.

Well, I dont know if this is true or not but i've always heard that walking with your butt cheeks (sp) together will work.. :roll: lol Good luck :D

Adding on to one of the exercises, this one is a good work-out. Start with your feet together, and then step one foot forward, bending oyu knee, but still keep both feet flat on the floor. Then take you back leg and kick it forward, set it down, and bend at the knee. Keep repeating. Do this and you will definitley feel the burn!!
OMG i really reccomend Windsor Pilates! They have certian excersises (it tells you what ones) on there that tightens your thighs and butt! It works mericles, and its kinda fun.....i do it 3times a week with my girlfriends (M, W, & F) and we are seeing great results! Oh and they have the other excersises on there that work your "powerhouse" *ab region* its awesome, i reall would reccomend it!! :lol:
