HI everyone! I ask for your advice because I don't know what to do. My success is that now I'm at my desired weight - I'm 5'11 and weigh 138 lbs. For the past 4 months I've been eating approx. 1500 calories per day and doing some exercise, mainly walking and stretching out. But here's my problem: I want to go back to normal eating, meaning about 2 000 cal daily, but I don't know how to do it - properly. I don't want to lose any more weight, but I also don't want to gain any - wanna stay exactly where I am now. Basically, my question is, what is a balanced diet? Should I continue to use light and diet products? I kinda know which food to avoid generally but I would need advice about specific food and amounts to eat if you want to maintain your weight. People have warned me I'll be too skinny if I lose any more weight...definitely want to avoid that.

You should be able to up your protein intake a bit. Add some steak, chicken and tuna into your diet. I doubt your weight will shoot up much if you're moderate. Just add things back into your diet one by one and see what happens.

That is always the biggest thing. Maintaining your weight after you have lost it. I would suggest that you keep exercising, maybe even kick it up to the "next" level by adding some cardio and light weight lifting. This will help to boost your metabolism, which may allow you to add more calories into your diet without gaining weight. What do you normally eat in a day?

If you are at a point of weight that you want to keep, then just talk to your doctor, who will be able to refer you to a nutritionalist. They can help you maintain your weight without losing or gaining. Good Luck!!
