Healthy snacking may help keep hunger at bay, preventing episodes of overeating at mealtimes. Snacking also helps to keep your blood sugar levels even, and provides energy and nutrients throughout the day, supporting your metabolism. Opt for healthy snacks such as fruits, veggies, low/non-fat yogurt, pretzels, a few wheat crackers with modest amounts of string cheese, or popcorn.

I think it also helps you avoid a breakdown where you binge and eat a lot of bad food. I've been eating a lot of fruit to satifsy my sweet tooth and I always feel good when I eat fruit as opposed to eating cake or something similar.

I try to eat 6 times a day! I eat breakfast, then about 2 hours later I have a snack. I have lunch & about 2 hours later I have a snack. I eat dinner and then have a small dessert. I'm sticking to a 1500 & under calorie diet and its working quite well. There are some really good snacking options for your sweet tooth & some very satisfying lunches to eat too! I don't feel like I'm starving when I get home & I can tell that its helped with my metabolism. Plus I am drinking more water so overall I just feel better!
