I want to challange myself to lose weight for my 21st birthday, but i dont know how much would be a reasonable goal. I would like some input into how much i should try to lose. My B-day is August 12. Thanxs in advance Kiara


how much do u usually loose per week? that would be a likely target so.. u work out how many u loose on average a week and then see if u can manitain it till ur bday so if its 2lbs a week then thats 8lbs a month so thats about 35/40 lbs i dont know just an opinion.


2 lbs a week is my goal... and i think it is fairly realistic for me... i'm doing pretty well... i hit 182 even today... AF lll


I have decided that I will lose 30 lbs by my b-day. I know that i could lose more but yesterday a dog bit the back of my knee and the doctor told me that i will have to stay off it for a while, so i dont know when i will be able to get back into me excercize routine. Though i might be a couch patato for a while i plan on watching what i eat and doing some sitting excersizes, and floor excersizes. Crunches here i come. Right now I am at 198lbs so by Agust 12 i plan on being at 168. Since bday lands on a thursday i will post back here every thursday. Kepping my fingers crossed Kiara


Hi Kiara :) The gift of better health is the greatest birthaday present you could give to yourself :) You have plenty of time to succeed at this!


Today is Thursday and that means it is wiegh in time. ( Steps on scale and Looks down with fingers crossed) 194 :D . I was trying for two but losing four pounds is fine by me. I will Be back next week with another weigh in.

Time for another weigh in. Bad news i gained 2 lbs. I am at 196. At least I am still under my starting weight of 198. Last week was a realy bad week for me and i tend to eat when i get depressed. I need to learn to control it. Hopefully this week will be better Kiara

I was thinking about adding a feature to the website that keeps track of everyones birthday and displays it on the page somewhere? What do you guys think?

Keep up the great work! When I was in a weightloss club they used to call staying at the same weight a "turtle". I've been a "turtle" stage for a few weeks now, hoping this week I'll overcome that. Did a lot of exercise and big construction work around the house this week.


Well thursday agian so it means time to weigh in. 190 Well it apears that i am stuck at a platue right now. I dont know when but i will break through the wall that appears to have come up at 190.
