I was wondering if anyone knew any exercises for my stomach???I have been trying to do yoga but I can't seem to keep my muscles in my stomach tightened through the whole work out(it is my problem area).Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

hi shauvanl! any type of ab crunch should be adequate. you basically keep your back flat to the ground and roll your legs toward your chest and your chest towards you legs and "crunch" the ab muscles. its a good movement to work with. any type of cardio workout should also help your abs greatly.

Thank you so much.I was starting to think no one would reply.I will start putting that in my rutine and hopefully I will lose the weight that I want to and get my abs in great shape.

Another variation to the ab crunch is to rest your calves on a large ball and do the crunch that way.

If you slowly twist from side to side while performing Roman chair sit-ups you’ll pick up the internal and external obliques too.

more or less for how long do we do this type or exercises?... b/c when i do push-up or sit-ups i try to do em fo rabout 15 minutes.

About 20 to 30 reps would be good. Not everyday though, just 2 or 3 times a week. Bear in mind that you can't get rid of fat from selected areas! The body's fat storage system doesn't work that way. Toning the abs is not going to reduce fat efficiently. You need to ear sensibly, and excercise regularly. If you use more energy than you take in, you will reduce body fat but not just in one place.
