I notice that some of you are on card diets. Is there one that is any better than the other, or any easier than the other. I think i need a change and stir up the body a bit.I am at a stand still, and would like to try something different. I would be grateful for any help i can get> Thanx in advance. O2Bthin :(

most people use atkins. there's the most info available on that one.

The main ones are Atkin's Diet and Southbeach Diet. Atkin's was the most vocal proponent of the low carb diets and his diet tends to be the strictest. You really have to do the induction phase to follow Atkin's. The induction phase is where you limit your carb intake to 20 or less grams per day. That is tough to do. If you achieve it, you may enter into a rapid weight loss period that is called ketosis.

low carb is just another diet plan. it works for some, doesn't work as well for others. as far as diets, the south beach plan allows for more carbs. atkins is stricter. i have saw that some members here mention that the downside of these diets, that when they went back to eating carbs, they gained weight back. so if you are following it to lose weight for good, this might be something to consider.
