Just wondered how many people here think "life happens to them" And how many people think that "they happen to life"?

Life "used" to happen to me. When I decided to stop letting life happen to me, everything switched around. I used to be victim of my own circumstances. Life kinda stunk back then. I also knew the whole time that I could change everything around if I wanted to. I just had to want it. Nothing in life is written in stone, and I think we create our own realities. Some people aren't held back by difficulties, others are paralyzed by them. I remember a newscast from a while ago that featured this boy. He got the highest SAT score that was ever recorded. This boy didn't have a home. He lived in a van with his family. I thought that was an interesting story.

I always seem to have bad luck, if that means anything. :?

For what it is worth.. I believe in providence not coincidence. AF lll

i happen to life! i am proactive. i'm not sitting here waiting to get knocked out.

i happen to life! it is much better than waiting for life to happen. it takes too long and gets boring!

As my screen name says, I feel very fortunate about life. However, I must say that I do tend to let it happen to me. As a stay at home mom with 2 toddlers, I am not the driven person I once was. However, I made the decisions that put me in this situation. I worked hard and went to school when I needed to. I am relaxed and enjoying my health and children - by my choice! I guess I happen to life AND it happens to me... and I'm lovin it! Jen

Life has a way of happening to all of us really, I guess it all depends on how you deal with it?
