Sorry, I couldn't respond sooner - I was all tangled up in my BowFlex. :lol: No, no... the recall only affects one model - not the one I have. BowFlex even sent us an e-mail BEFORE the press release informing us of the news and recall. I'm not sure what the design flaw is, but hopefully it's not due to 70 out of 420,000 people doing something insane, like trying to do chin-ups from the lat tower (my BowFlex even has a big warning NOT to do that). Note that ONLY the lat tower models are being recalled - so it wouldn't surprise me if the recall is because BowFlex failed to put a warning sticker on their model saying "don't hang from this bar". :roll: I like the machine and recommend it. I'd go with their new Xtreme model or the Ultima model. :D
Glad to hear you haven't been injured. :) You are probably right about a few people just doing something stupid. In all the time they've been around, I guess it's inevitable..
