I think it's time for this whole site to submit their weight loss plans for 2004. I'd like to get as many respones as possible to this. Easy for me to talk about losing weight because I'm a personal trainer? I weighed 212 lbs in 1999 and I'm 5',8",now I weigh a cut 177 lbs,it can be done if your dead serious about it. I'd like to hear about everyones individual goals,only if your serious. :D


i'm 6'4 i started at 310. am 288 now and would like to get much closer to 230. i am having decent, albeit slow, results. i'm retracing my steps now on the weight i gained. i hovered around 280 on the road to 310 and now again on the way back down. good job on your weight loss.


My goal for 2004 is to be 130lbs by May 1. Right now I'm 5'7 and 152lbs. I would really like to lose inches more than weight so I can go from being a size 12 to a size 8. I danced for years and I would love to go back to that figure! I am attacking my weight by staying between 1300-1500 calories a day at the most, drinking more water, and exercising more. Hopefully this will work for me! Good luck to everyone in achieving their goals! :P


that is a very realistic goal and your method sounds perfectly good to. no reason it can't work. good luck to you too! :P

I'm 5'8", 211, and I'd like to be around 130-140 by my 18th b-day (August 2). I'm planning on starting up Jan 1, when all the major holidays are done and over with. Then I'm going to work vigorously to get to my goal wt. by Aug. I want to go to college looking like a whole new person. ;) And congrats on the loss, helpuslim!


I'm 5'3' and bounce around from about 125-130. My goal for the new year is to tone up and build muscle. I don't think I need to lose much, if any weight. Instead I would rather build muscle and get into a 'nice' physical condition. So that would be my New Years Resolution..


I'm 161 looking to be 125. And my get up and go must have got up and went. Until now!


Realistically I'm 273 right now and would love to be 220 by Christmas.


Now is the time to start putting those new year's resolutions into effect. I've seen some very good goals being posted,and I hope everyone meets there goal in 2004. I am on the job! I have been working out and watching the food. So far so good. My goal is to get as fit as I can this year.


i am getting up and going to work out before work. since its the winter and its dark at 4pm i get home and do not feel like working out. if i get up each morning and get it out of the way first thing in the morning than i have accomplished something that i can be proud of and not worry that i won't get it done. i'm focusing on the cardio. 3 days of 25 minutes and some light machines followed by a day off. i am focusing on cutting the fat. im sticking to a 1200 per day calorie which is truly no great hardship and doing the exercising which i haven't done on my last few weight loss attempts. things are going well.


I'm 5'3 and 158. My goal is to be 130 by June 21st 2004!! Hey I started at 159 :D


Way to go, Blackbee! Sounds like you have done very well and you should have no trouble achieving your goal! My goal is to maintain my present weight and get more fit this year.


Drink a lot of water, eat healthy and exercise for 20 minutes a day and I'm sure we'll all see results.


the exercise stops being a chore when you actually feel better and you start seeing results. if you're seeing results you get excited and want to exercise. i'm convinced adding exercise is the main thing to help a diet attempt be successful. there's no point doing one without the other.
