this will make 6 servings. takes about a 1/2 hour to prepare and cook.
what you will need:
*1 1/2 pound perch. (you can substitute this with any other fresh or frozen fish if you have other on hand or prefer.)
*1 large lemon thinly sliced.
*2 medium onions ( i like vidalias ) also sliced thinly.
*1/2 cup white wine.
*1 small bay leaf.
*1/2 teaspoon whole peppercorns.
*1 cup water, or veggie broth.
combine all ingredients, excluding the fish, in a large skillet and simmer for 10 minutes. add fish.
cover and cook for 10 minutes longer.
serve with asparagus or other green veggie. delicious!
