We all get tired of water - so I have no problem with healthy substitutes. I have used Splenda a lot lately, and may even check out the V8 you mentioned just to see if I can add it to my list. The only concern I have about some of these diet foods and drinks is that when the food manufacturers cut the fat and the carbs, they will often put in sodium to add flavor. Therefore, check the amount of sodium on this label. If one serving (and that's usually an 8 oz. glass) has over 700 mg of sodium, then that's VERY high and something you will need to watch. This is also true of a lot of low-fat/low-carb items like soups and frozen entrees. As a result, I'll buy things like the "Healthy Choice" soups from Campbells, which are not only low in fat and carbs, but in sodium. Thanks for the recommendation though (on the V8 ). I have found more and more items have Splenda in them, including various powdered tea mixes (some of which are also decaffeinated - good stuff) and even ice creams!
You can always have some ice tea with Stevia too. Low on sugar and calories and tasty!
I just checked the sodium, and the OceanSpray has 75mg per 8oz and the V8 has 25mg... not too bad. I never thought of the sodium. Oh, and what tea mixes have Splenda in them? I am always looking for the sweetened tea mixed just to make life easier :D

It's right next to all the other teas (Nestea, Lipton, etc.) in the powdered-tea section. The can openly says things like "naturally decaffeinated" and "NOW made with Splenda" on it - so you can't miss it. It's a bluish can, with the usual pictures of iced tea on it. The sodium amount in those drinks is great - so I'll definitely be checking out the V8. I've been not drinking a lot of juices because of all the sugar. I have found the lower cal cranberry juices, and I'll get those. I just don't want something that bombards my body with unwanted sugar.
