I exercised every day this last week, but I am taking today off. We are getting ready to head out to my mother-in-law's home. But I am sure that I will be running (literally) room to room so I'm not in the same place she is, does that count as exercise???? Charity

sure does. any exercise is better than none.

..Looks like it's been a bit longer than just one day. I guess that is why taking days off is a bad idea. 1 leads to 2, to 3 and so on. Before long it's 6 months and your up pounds. Adding some basic exercise into your everyday life is the most important thing you can do to assure healthy weight loss. Once you get in the swing of it, you enjoy it and wouldn't think of taking a day off.. I have been faithful to every workout this year. Maybe it's because I MEAN it now more than ever. 2004 is the year to stop making excuses and lose this weight..

yeah its been a whole lot longer than one day! :P

More like 100 days off! :P

LOL! Y'all are too funny. But taking a day off is normal. I take days off all the time - in fact, the BowFlex program only recommended working out 3x a week. So daily exercise is not necessarily required. Although, I would like to get back into the habit of working out about 4-5x a week.

i have been using a 3 day on 1 day off split. day one i do cardio and then shoulders, triceps and chest (pushing motions) and abs day two i do cardio and then back and biceps (pulling exercises) day three i do cardio and then legs and abs day four i'm off! my legs are getting skinny fast.
