Hi, I am looking into motivating ways to workout. I am a mother of a 4 year old and I work full time. I plan on joining a gym soon but in the meantime I'd also like to workout at home. I have heard that the new trend now is the Pelates program or excercices. Apparently the exercices are gentle but can tone and strenghten the muscles very well. As anyone tried this yet and what are your comments.


I am a huge fan of Pilates!! they work VERY well. They give you that long, lean look. I have the 'windsor pilates' work out videos here at home. They're great! I would definitley reccommend them. And they work!! the 1st couple days you will very very sore. Pilates is mainly for your tummy... legs and butt. So for women, they're perfect!

I have not heard from any of you yet; bu I have found out that a girl at work has tried and ordered the videos from Windsor Pelates and she has lost weight in the abdomen, thighs and buttock area within 8 weeks. She finds the videos are great to try . I will probably order them myself or buy them in a store if I can find them. ciao for now Will keep you posted on progress once I have started them :D :D


I have the DVD's but haven't looked at them yet. I'll be interested in hearing what you think of them. I'm real interested in hearing how anyone over 200 lbs felt about them if any of you know. Thanks
