never believe a scale! 10 pounds is possible. how severe has the diet been?
South beach diet. I don't even feel like I'm on a diet. Not hungry at all just craving the missing million carbs a day I normally eat. I guess it just seems to easy so I'll not believe it until I weigh myself again next week.
generally a doctor will have a very reliable scale. so! CONGRATS!
i'd take that! 10 pounds is a pretty nice weight loss. it might even be a good idea to go once a week to "weigh in" at your doctors office. you can chart your progress with your doctor. (most doctors will do this without charging you) you also will be spared the agony of daily weigh ins that fluctuate. :D

South Beach is a low carb diet. You cut out carbs for 2 weeks & then add them back in. You eat a lot of meat & veggies so you have to watch how much fat your getting. Most of my office has been on it for months and the weight just keeps coming off. It seems to come back on fast if you start cheating. I'm having real problems letting go of my pasta & bread. I can't even think of what to cook that isn't full of carbs. Thanks for the answers everyone I will try to track the weight at home for awhile and see if I have lost that much or not.
