Okay! HUGE dilema.... well not really. Im just making this into a big thing. I WORK AT A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT!! Im a manager at wendys. NOW. tthose salads and frostys and potatoes are killer! working there, the food is really good. and very tempting. I eat there a lot... cuz since im on the go all the time, its easy to quickly eat there. which, is horrible. I should start packing my own lunch for my break.... but its super hard. you have no idea!!! also.... I have this huge problem with actually getting to the gym. The gym my membership is at is 24hrs. So i could go anytime really... but im so self concoious of myself. I need all the support i can get and any advice about the gym..and work.. and and loosing weight.. and.. haha :)


I always thought that the salads would be better for you??


they are... but man... Those salad dressings are what kill ya!! SO fatty! :roll:


Well, we all brush our teeth every day, don't we? We all take a shower. There are plenty of things we do without thinking about them. We don't talk ourselves out of combing our hair in the morning. It's built into our routine and the way we think. There is no room for negotiating on some things. Try and shift your thinking to a point where making your lunch is on the same level with getting dressed. You wouldn't dare go to work naked, make your lunch the same way. NO ROOM for negotiating! After you have mastered that, switch to the gym part. Pick a time of the day where you can find the least amount of excuses to do it -- then do it! Don't let your brain talk you out of it. Good luck! true enough! I really, really enjoy the southwest salad that wendy's offers. I can see how it would be hard.. wouldn't there chili also be a relatively "safe" thing to eat??


yah know... You made a lot of sense lambchop. I mean... its not as hard as we make it. Loosing weight is all in the head really. If you really want to do it... You can!! :lol: Im going to pick up my bf from work in a bit, and then i will go grocery shopping for lunches for work. Sandwhiches, yogart. Etc. And no more drinking pop... Ill replace the pop with water. Even tho, pop tastes better.... ugh. This is possible :)


I just saw several Wendy's commercials for a lunch that has just 5 grams of fat. It has a chili, plain baked potato and a salad with fat-free (or low-fat) dressing! So get the salad, but use the fat-free (or low-fat) dressing. Put the chili on the baked potato to give it some "kick". Or, get some fat-free sour cream. Add some onions from work - and voila - a great tasting potato. If your Wendy's doesn't have fat-free items, buy some and bring them to work! This way you can eat food at work, but just top it with your own fat-free dressings. :D


Why thanks guys for all the wonderful tips. I went grocery shopping tonight, and starting tomorrow.. Packing a lunch! Includes... Sandwiches, and yogart. and water..... this well help mega!! So starting tomorrow... :? wish me luck!


Good luck! You can do it...if you don't forget your lunch on the couter like I did today. Yeah, I would advise against that. Good thing I didn't forget to put my pants on too! :D
