Mother Nature.... I avoid the scale at this time of the month..   I never like what it has to say, since it's lying to me anyhow!!!! hehe..
lol@QB i hear you! not a bad idea if you know you are going to be unhappy for the next 3 - 5 days with imaginary water weight!
I only did a fraction of the exercising (walking and BowFlex) than I normally do this past weekend. However, this could be a good thing - the BowFlex plan calls for only 3 work-outs a week (20 minutes each). I often tend to work-out 4x a week, for 45-55 minutes! But I was busy this weekend, so only did about 15 minutes of working-out. I stayed on my diet though - in fact, I think I ate less than normal! And I did do 3 work-outs during the week. The result was.... It worked! Last week, my home scale bounced between 254 and 260. The average weight seemed to be around 256-257. This morning, the scale read as low as 253, but no more than 256! Much less bouncing and a new low! When I got to work, I stepped on that scale. While I'm fully dressed at work, clothes and shoes only add at most 5 pounds. The work scale is mean  - it says I weigh 20-25 pounds more than my home scale! 8O So when I was floating around 257-260 on my home scale, the work scale had me at 285 (fully dressed - or about 280 unclothed). Now, the work scale reads 275!! That's a full 10 pound decrease on the work scale! So it looks like I'm progressing! I estimate at least 3 pounds lost (using my home scale). Woo hoo! My Halloween goal is to have the scale dip to 239. I'm getting closer to the 240's - so maybe I'll make it!
[b:e5760dd381]Congrats to you on doing so great DoctorU2[/b:e5760dd381]. Weekends are always the hardest. You should be commended on your accomplishments :D Scales are enough to drive you crazy if you let them  Have you had to buy any new duds to reflect the incredible shrinking you??
I haven't bought new clothes yet - maybe because I enjoy wearing some of my old ones and having them actually fit or even be a bit loose! LOL! My friends are starting to notice me being thinner - and indeed, I'm close to a 30 pound drop now! :D The pants I'm wearing I bought when I was 30 pounds heavier and now they are loose. I can still wear them, but I have a LOT of room. I'm sure in another 20 pounds or so, I will have to start getting new clothes - or a very strong belt (my current belt by the way is also too loose and I don't have any other notches for it - I may have to get a new belt soon!).
Alright. My weight is always different it is usually 159-170 (WE need a new scale)I think my ultamate goal for now is 130 so I have a long way to go.I am visiting my cousin in 61 days (yes i am counting down) Anyways I want to be at leat 155lb when I get there so,yeah. *SIGH*
You'll make it!!! Dont worry! -Veronica
I hope so. :?
