ok i have been trying to diet and trying to exercise and it may sound like i am making excuses but this is really what happened i quit smoking, ended up being diagnosed with asthma, got a cold wich makes the athsma worse and now i have a really bad sinus infection. now i feel really yucky and all i want to do is sleep however this is not everyone elses plan. since i am in college you would think that i could miss class nope one of my classes i can only miss 3 days total of the semester. or my grade goes down 2 of my other classes i have already missed twice and i feel really behind i mean what can a girl do? i am so depressed. it feels like i am never going to beable to fit in my wedding dress by june

To best lose weight, one needs to avoid stress. Between your classes and your health and the pressures of a wedding, you have tons of stress. Something has to give. So consider doing one of the following: [list:4f95fbc29a][*:4f95fbc29a]It sounds like you are battling a few health issues. If these TRULY require you to take time off from school - then arrange to do so. You won't be the first student to have to do this. :) What's the worse thing that could happen? Perhaps you need to take classes for another semester? Isn't your health worth this? Also, while your school's general rule is not to miss more than 3 classes, perhaps under extreme circumstance - which you may have - you can. So explore this further.[*:4f95fbc29a]One way to ease your burden is to perhaps drop a class. If you are already behind, dropping a class - especially while you recover - will help you considerably. There's no shame in dropping a class for your health.[*:4f95fbc29a]Consider postponing your wedding. I know you may be anxious to start your "new married life", but your health and schooling may ultimately be more important than being married by June. I'm sure your fiance will understand. If you postpone your wedding just a few months, that would relieve the stress of trying to diet right now (especially as you are ill) and planning a wedding while taking challenging classes.[/list:u:4f95fbc29a] Good luck! And remember, this time too shall pass. How you feel now may not be how you feel next week. :)

remember...nothing lasts forever. whenever I have to do something I really don't want to do, I remind myself that everything passes. maybe that sounds pessimistic;but, I find it comforting when I'm having a really tough time.

probably the main thing bothering you is you feel sick. when you feel better you will have a little more enthusiam. congrats on quitting smoking. that is a good move!

I remember my wedding. I walked in for my first fitting and my wedding dress was too small! I was mortified! How could I let myself get this big? I put so much pressure on myself to look perfect that I completely stressed myself out and had the opposite effect. Yes, I was fat on my wedding day. That's okay.....I was so beautiful!
