Hi Joan: You have the right spirit. Also, there are two other ways to view this:[list=1:1f928fcfbe][*:1f928fcfbe] You may be reaching a plateau stage, where it will take a bit longer to lose extra pounds. If your diet has been higher in carbs, drop those and switch to one higher in protein (or vice versa). Sometimes that change in food will help you get past this little plateau. [*:1f928fcfbe] After eating more food, due to the Flex Points Plan, and going to two food-heavy social events this weekend, you did not GAIN any weight. This shows that once you do get to your desired weight, you can follow Weight Watchers Flex Points system - and even indulge a little - without worry of gaining all that weight back! :) [/list:o:1f928fcfbe] So don't worry about the lack of weight loss today. Who knows... maybe your big weekend is causing the scale to be a bit deceitful. I'm sure next week your weigh-in will reflect another great loss!
thanks, doc, i sure hope next monday's weigh-in is better. otherwise ..... ah .... hmmm ... i'm going to have to adjust that halloween challenge goal, lol. i'll try switching up the carbs/protein mix a bit and see if that shake anything loose. :) - joan
I should stress that I got that mix of the carb/protein ratio from the Weight Watchers board! There are a lot of people who mention hitting a plateau. So they shift their balance of carbs and proteins and it helps them lose weight again. Worth checking out for a week. :D
you can do it lezdrum. :) Keep your goals in focus, and don't let one week hold you back. Today is the start of a brand new week!!
i know how it feels, lezdrum! nothing worse than not seeing results. just hang in there anyway!
