Is there anyone on weight watchers who is doing the new flex points system? I am still using the old point range system and am hesitant to change that because I am seeing good results. I guess I just want to wait and see how others are doing with that before I just off of this plan and onto that one. Any opinions out there? - Joan

Hello Lezdrum.. what are flexpoints? are they "extra points" you add back in overtime, or what.. :?: how do they work? Thanks in advance.. Sharon88

hi sharon, i don't attend weight watchers meetings and i'm not a member. but from what i've seen online and heard from others, the flexpoints plan replaces the points range plan. basically you have a target point level for the day, instead of a range (the target level is 2 points above the lowest point level in the former range). then you have 35 points that you can use anytime in the week. i guess it makes it easier to save to those evenings out. to me, it doesn't seem much different then the points range, except with the points range you can't use more than 10 forwarded unused points a day. i was hoping to hear from someone who is using this plan and find out how it is working for them. - joan

Thank you for taking the time to explain. :) I hope that someone else might have the info you are seeking.. (since I don't )

Hi there, While I have just started the flex points system.. i have had numerous friends and family members go on the plan with excellent results.. the average weight loss over 2-3 months was 15lbs.. Some are now on their 40th point (obviously over a longer time range). It has been enough to convince me to give it a shot. I'll let you know how it goes over the next month :)

I looked into this plan and it seems like a pretty good one. Points help simplify what you can eat without having to count calories and boring stuff like that..

Definitely keep us posted with your results Trixie.

Hi Everyone I started the flex point plan on August 30th I was 200 Lbs, today I am 185, It's a very good plan, You can eat ALL your activity points for the day, not just 4 points like before, but you can't bank them for another day . I tried the old plan last year and was so unhappy because I couldn't go above my target on certain days. I'm not saying that I go above it everyday now, but sometimes you just wanna have something sweet and you can't. With the new plan I sometimes fight to reach the minimum (20 points), but when I want to indulge I can! give it a try , it works.

Way to go emangenena! Nice work!
