Hi everyone, my names Kayla. When I moved in with my bf last August I weighed roughly 120. Now a year later I weigh 210. It's a difficult change for me. I just fell into the "I'm happy, and I have no one to please, so who cares what I look like" mode. I'm looking for the perfect diet, but is there such a thing? Well I'll soon find out. I used to run 6 miles a day, and now I can't even walk down the street without gasping for air. I have a hard time walking upstairs, working all day, and even cleaning house. I went to the doctor the other day, and she said she was concerned, but the only advice she could give me was "YOu need to change your lifestyle" Well that was easy for this little 90 pound doc to say to me. It's also expensive to eat healthy, and I'm just a 20 year old college girl making roughly 100$ a week, and going to school full-time. It's so much easier to go to McDonalds and spend a dollar on a double cheeseburger then going to the store, buying 20 dollars worth of healthy food, and then coming home and spending an hour cooking it. Well it's nice to meet all of you, and hopefully i'll find the encouragment and motivation I'm looking for at featherish.com!
Sincerly,
Kayla
P.S. I've looked at different diets, and they all just seem impossible. If anyone has any really good diets they've currently been on, and think they would work for me, feel free to discuss. Thanks!
Hi Kayla,
I have a suggestion: Wendy's has a really nice salad selection that should fit right into your budget. A full meal for 3.99 and healthy to boot!
