Hello hun, Getting sick of yourself is the first step towards making change! Its never easy but it can definitely happen. How many times have you seen a remarkable before and after picture of someone who lost 100 pounds? Many times I bet. So we know it can be done. And we know YOU can do it too. 24 is sooo young. When you're old like I am (42) you will realize how young 24 is. Don't let anything stand in your way. You will reach your goal.

100 pounds in one year is very do-able! That would mean you would need to lose less than 2 pounds per week on average. 1 pound is equal to 3,500 calories. 2 would be 7,000. Either through calorie deficit (cutting back on calories consumed) or "spending" them.. (Increasing activity to burn them) or a combination of both, you can get this done!!

im in the same boat as you monkey. only not as young. so keep your chin up.

I have lost close to 70 pounds and it is the best feeling i've had in years. People who haven't seen you in awhile will kiss your ass about how good you look and you will definitely feel a sense of satisfaction! And keep this in mind, time passes anyway, so the sooner you start the better off you will be. If you can remain strict, especially at the beginning, you will see results. Once you do you will stick with it. An enthusiastic start to your weight loss attempt will really benefit you. Good luck!
