I was did not know that! I take it the results have been pretty dramatic for you then?
Yea, I mean I still have cellulite, but I can honestly say that it has decreased. They say that it takes about a year to totally repair the cells back to normal, and I have only been on it for about 2 - 3 months. Plus weight loss also helps speed things up. But I would definately reccomend it.
Where can you find these? Are they pills. or are they in liquid form? Thanks in advance for your reply!
These oils are absolutely essential in our diet! They clear acne prone skin, keep us regular, improve brain function, and aid our immune system just to name a few. Normally they can be found at any health food store and you can find it in capsule or in oil form. It's important to keep these precious oils in the fridge as they tend to oxidize quickly. Another way of getting these oils is by simply purchsing flax seed. Flax is a great sorce of omega fatty acids. Grind up a tblsp on your oatmeal every morning. Your body will thank you for it later! :D
Thanks for that info Aneatha.. I'll have to look for that the next time I'm at the store!
[quote:f9d0a9e1a9="jjohnson"]Cellulite is cause by a lack of fatty acids Omega 3, 6, & 9. It makes the fat cell weak and that is what causes the dimple effect. I have been taking Omega supplements for about 2-3 months now and can see a big difference, maybe someday it will all be gone.[/quote:f9d0a9e1a9] :?: i'm interested in learning more on this, there are so many products on the shelf, which one's are safe and effective? i'd like to hear more on this. thank- you very much :D
What is the dimple effect? and what is cellulite?
While these oils (fats) must be consumed (as our body cannot make them), chances are that you eat a good amount of Omega-6 oil anyway, as it's in margarine and olive oil. Omega-3 is the oil you want to really get more of into your diet. This oil is more "rare" and thus Years ago, it was believed that the ration of Omega-3 to Omega-6 oils was 1:2. Not, that ratio is believed to be 1:20! 8O Good ways to get Omega-3 are things like albacore tuna, conveniently packed in a can. You can still by this in spring water, to reduce unnecessary fats, but by buying the ALBACORE tuna (as opposed to other tuna), you will get Omega-3 oil. In general, fish is good for this oil. Also, so are nuts. A good snack mix with nuts and raisins (like a trail mix), should help you stock up on this oil. If you are allergic to nuts and don't like fish, then supplements are the way to go. But these oils are good for you (part of the "healthy" fats group). That said, like all foods, don't overdo them. A little goes a long way. Plus, be careful not to mix these fats with trans-fats (like in many margarines) or fully saturated fats - as these are the "bad" fats (especially the trans-fat). Plus, too much Omega-3 fat can lead to prostate cancer (obviously for men). So take them in their desired appropriate amounts.
Woah! Thanks, guys! I didn't really know that, it might get very useful one day!! So - tuna, margarine, olive oil, omega 3, 6 & 9 supplements, flax seed, and weight loss will decrease cellulite. Awesome! :D
Wonderful news! I am anxious to try it out!
