Hi, I'm new to this site, tonight being my first night on!!!
I am one of those people that have tried a thousand different diets to no avail!!! Tried the Atkins- yeah it worked until I went back to even a modest amount of carbs, then I gained more back!! Tried the counting fat grams- not much success!!! Also been to weight watchers, the points plan, that did not work for me at all, 5 weeks of wasted time, and money coz there is no actual guidelines!!
I did read about a woman- who like me did not want to give up all the foods, sweets that I like- she just ate smaller amounts, and ate certain things at certain times of the day- it worked for her, and I am tempted to try it, anyone else out there heard of this.
She ate most of her carbs in the morning and early afternoon, minimal to none after 1:00- dinner she ate salad, most of her proteins, and for snack she ate dry roasted peanuts, no carb foods. She also was very adiment about tons of water, she drank lots of water. For me that is not too hard coz I do like water alot!!
Does this sound right to you- anyone?? She has mentioned that she does walk around 2-3 miles aday, with moderate activity doing daily chores etc... I need some suggestions, I am sooooo sick of looking like this, my goal is to lose 20 -25 pounds. I am currently 5'3" - and I weigh around 145 - 150 I won't get on the scales quite yet!!!
Truthfully what you're describing should work for anyone. Any food in moderation should not be harmful. If you concentrate on eating "healthier" than you have been and starting to exercise, you should have very little trouble losing 25 pounds.
Good luck!
Welcome to you! It sounds like enough of a plan to begin. 25 pounds is a pretty "small" amount of weight lose. You can do it! :D
You should maybe try to read up about Enzymes. They are in all NATURAL foods. Maybe you can try a all natural foods. It worked for me for a while, but I am not really crazy about too many veggies.
I've heard about something very similar to the diet that jojo has described, however the name of the diet eludes me. I think if you moderate your diet any weight loss goal can be achieved.
