Hi There are several stay-at-home moms that live on my street (including myself)and I've noticed that the longer a mom stays home, the larger she becomes. I've been home with my daughter sincer her birth (19 months ago) and I am finding it more and more difficult to keep the pounds off. Does anyone else struggle with this? Have you found any good solutions?

Hi Rebecca's mommy, You are not alone. Keeping busy helps me. Take your daughter to the park or for a walk everyday. Excercise will help. :D

Exercise will definitely help! Just hang in there. You GO GIRL :)

Hey stay at home mom!! Well... i signed up to train for a marathon.. told my friends so.. i was committed..lost more weight than i did before i was prego.. best thing i ever did..plus i gave me some free time to meet other ppl saturday mornings.. Your goal doesn't have to be that.. but that's just what i did.. Good luck sexy!!! CM~~

Mommy: As a baby shower gift for a dear friend, a number of us pooled our gifts and bought one of those jogging carts so you can take the baby with you for a stroll or a little trot. She is doing very well and uses it every non-rainy, non-snowy day. Signing up for a Marathon! That is pretty exciting Cookie! I ran a 3K once and I did sort of the same thing, taught myself to be able to run/jog for a half hour a little at a time AFTER I signed up for it! But, as we know, 3K does not a Marathon make!!! I'm hoping to be able to do a little running by October. I walked 15 minutes on the trendmill yesterday! It's a start!

nahantress!! I sure didn't start out at the marathon level..no way!!!!!!! Was a goal then it happen now a tradition!! 8O

thank goodness you cleared that up! i was pretty intimidated that you could just decide one day to run a marathon and do it immediately! i'm glad to know that you worked your way up to it. you are an inspiration though! nahantress
