Yes, I have taken phentermine, my doctor perscribed it to me. It does work, but only for awhile if you don't change your eating habits. I was taking 15 mg. a day, which is very minimal, I did lose weight, but I did not think too much of the dieting part, I expected the miracle pill, which was not to be. Now my doctor will not give it to me, and since I did not change my eating habits while I was on it I have not lost anymore weight. Had I changed my habits, plus thrown in alittle excersice I would have been in shape now. I did lose 22 pounds on it in two months time, like I say it probably would have been more, had I taken it seriously. The stuff they offer without a perscription is not good,you should definately see your doctor and get a scrip. They do have places that offer phentermine without a perscription , but it is not the same stuff!!! Good luck with it.
Just be wary with any pills. The risk of addiction is always there.
losing weight takes time and effort. any pill offering: lose weight quick, while you sleep, blah blah blah. is probalbly not going to work long term. you may lose a few pounds, but gain them all back anyhow. even though it sounds like a real drag, changing your eating habits and adding exercise is going to be more effective. just my opinion! pixie~ :D
Sweetmonkey~ Here's one that's kind of expensive..you can get it at GNC. Called Zotrin.. None of that funky stuff that risks your heart.. its slows your digestive system down and makes your brain think you're full sooner than it normally would. But you know you best!! Good luck! CM~ 8O
BE CAREFUL! I have tried lots of diet pills, especially over hte counter ones and now I have heart problems that are atributed to that uses. I stay clear of anything like that. I didn't gain all my weigh over night, nor will I lose it overnight.
