i would send a book, but it would take a while to reach you! i could offer some advice, if you'd like..
No books, but advise. Don't cut out cards totally. Stop eating white cards and cards with alot of sugar and oils in them (unless it's a healthy oil -olive oil is one). Instead, eat whole grains, things like oatmeal, whole wheat bread, triskets, wheat thins. When you look in the ingredients, on the box, you see whole grain as the first ingreditent, those are the good cards, the cards that keep you feeling satisfied and that keep you from eating more. All the other cards are empty and will not satify you in the end, leaving you wanting more. I am sure you know that things like candy (any sugar product), rice, corn, potatoes, noodles, nad other high is sugar and startch foods are also high in cards. Good Luck

i might mention that cutting back or eliminating soda pop from your diet can help to cut some extra calories from your diet quick!
