Hi Guys - Have you got any suggestions for online personal training? My friend just signed up for an account at HDO Training (www.hdotraining.com) and they helped her design her own workout program which only costs 14.99/month. She told me the person she worked with was an expert coach so im thinking of signing up. Has anyone tried online coaching? It seems a lot cheaper and I really like the idea to keep me motivated. If someone could let me know their thoughts that would be great. Jenny

I've never tried it, but if you think it will help you, then go for...its worth a try! Good luck

As someone who has tried both online training and in-person training i cant tell you there is no real comparison. When trying to do it online you get everything "TOLD" to you or even shown little diagrams, i can tell you i only figured out about 1/4 of the exercises correctly. After getting a proper personal trainer there was a whole world of difference. I think for a lot of exercises you really need to be shown a PROPER technique or else you are wasting your time. You can do 100 sit ups a day, but if you arent doing them properly you may as well be doing 2.

most things are better with a human touch.

I totally agree, and if you are just doing it for motivation well, thats what i'm here for, and I'm free!! lol, seriously though, I think that a human showing you is easier then a computer telling you.
