Thought I'd share my good news, I've lost 10lbs since Nov 1st! I hope to be able to keep this up for the next 3 months and get down to my goal weight of 120! Been eating 750-800 cals a day. With an allowance of 1000 max.. Currently at 180lbs, 60 to Go! Sure Sounds better than the 70lbs I started out to lose... so wish me luck and I wish all of you the same! Every ten pounds I lose I buy myself a little something (no food) to give me a well deserved pat on the back! :D

Wow! I don't even know you and I'm excited for you! Keep up the good work and keep us informed. :D What kind of exercise have you been doing? I'm trying to lose weight as well and we're basically the same weight, but I'm 170. We have the same goal weight too!


Hello, nice to meet you and we are very close huh?!! I weighed in at 178 this morning. I definitely feel better about myself already..12 pounds of fat and water gone.. I have been walking every day, about an hour with my dog. I live in a National Forest on the west coast and the terrain is varied. 3 times a week I do some spot toning exercises, 20 a peice, like sit ups leg lifts etc. Pretty much until I feel the burn and I know those muscles have been "activated!"[color=blue:4bc2a8ec35][/color:4bc2a8ec35] I try to "fast" one day a week and on that day I only drink water(alot) and juices, and occasionally v-8 juice etc.. Its high with sodium so I watch it close.. I eat rice mainly, brown rice or white, either is ok, cooked with low fat chicken broth and some herbs. A dab of "I can't believe its not butter" spray or margarine-(when I feel naughty). I am following the traditional "Rice diet" that was popular many moons ago. It works quite well for me, as I've had to lose this much weight before when I had my son 10years ago, and if I get tired of it I can always switch to a "baked potato day" or an "salad day" to help get unbored.
