:?: has anyone tried the carbohydrate addict's healthy heart program? is anyone even familiar with it? how does it compare with atkins and the south beach diet? any help would be greatly appreciated. i need to drop about fifty lbs. i am open to any suggestions that are "doable" long-term. thanks so much-- :D [/b]

Hi! I'm familiar with a diet called The Carbohydrate Addict's Diet. That is actually one I used a few years ago and had good results with it. It is very similar to the Atkin's Diet. High protein, low carbs, yadda yadda! The one thing that is unique and cool concerning The Carbohydrate Addict's Diet is the concept of a reward meal. Basically you can eat whatever you want for dinner as long as you eat it one hour. Very cool! Hope this helps some and good luck! Hen

Hi blue, Atkins is not bad, but it does make me crave carbs quite a bit. I'm not sure I can really stay on it forever with those type of cravings.
