hey everyone, i just joined. i'm danielle and i'm a sophomore in college. i've been dieting on/off since september with little weight loss. i started out by eating 1300-1600 cals/day, and that helped me lose about 2 pounds a week, but then with the stress of starting school, i just kind of stopped my diet  so i'm here to get back on track! i think that qualifies as a low-cal diet...let me know if i'm in the wrong place posting here! i refuse to eat less than 1200/day b/c i have been struggling with anorexia since i was 15 and i can't afford to relapse again. i think this is the healthy way to go! a little background info: i eat mostly clean with a few treats, and i try to eat as little refined sugar as i can. i work out every day, usually 30-40 mins. of cardio like running/elliptical, 30 mins. of either weights or pilates, and a walk for up to an hour. i also do long runs of 12+ miles once a week b/c i'm training to run a half-marathon. on my long run days i usually eat more, since my runs alone burn over 1000 cals. ummm i think that's it...nice to meet all of you! have you been seeing results from your diets? hope so!
It doesn't seem like you need to lose any weight..... :?
I have to agree with helplesscase on that one.
Doing too much exercise without taking in enough calories can lead to stuff like vertigo, lightheadedness and stuff like that.
I might suggest you talk to a qualified doctor if you plan on continuing down this path.
