Sounds sort of bad to be honest with you. Especially the rest of the banana 8-12 hours later. Are you in college?

no am 17  high school still,,,, any yeah to me that a good diet, lol

It doesnt sound like you'll be getting nearly as many calories as you need. You're body will go into starvation mode and store away any fat you do eat. Try something like this: Breakfast: 1/2 cup non fat cottage cheese and 1/2 cup blueberries a slice of whole wheat toast with low fat margarine A biiiig glass of water Lunch: 3 cups chopped romaine 1 chopped tomato 2 tbs non fat caesar dressing More water! Dinner: My favorite low fat dinner to make is 4 slices of grilled eggplant 1/2 cup light marinara sauce 1/2 cup of non fat mozarella cheese Non fat milk. Dont forget to drink lots of water throughout the day. If you need a snack, try an apple or the banana you mentioned.

good advice from jesscia. your body has to get enough calories a day. our bodies are wired to "think" that if there is a shortage of food, that it will continue so it hold on to stored energy (fat) to assure our livelyhood. i have been trying to change the way i think about food, as what it really is. ENERGY. sort of the same way as a car. a car needs fuel (most cases unleaded) if you go to the gas station and use diesel or leaded fuel, your car won't operate right. food is the same thing, only the fuel we use is food. we all kind of have a good idea about what is is healthy and what is not. the better you fuel your body, the better off you are. if you are only 17, try to add healthy foods and exercise to your daily routine. you may be pleasantly surprised. great to meet you and welcome to the forums.

I think it sounds good except have more of a dinner than just a vegetable. And finish the banana (sp) off at one time and for your 4:00 snack have like an apple or something
