The season of change is here already! Time to change your weight! Keeping motivated and focused on a goal is sometimes one of the hardest things to do. That is why we are having the 2nd Annual Halloween Challenge! Halloween is less than a month away, but there is still time to set a small goal and achieve it. Being healthy and happy leads to longevity and a better quality of life. Whether it be to start exercising, eat better, drink more water, set a goal for yourself to improve your health. Let us know what that goal is, and what you are going to do to achieve it in the forums. On Halloween, let us know how you did. Just post in the thread :) Let us know what your goal is for Halloween and what you are going to do to achieve it. Thats it! I want to lose 5-7 pounds. I will do it by working harder at the gym and not making excuses not to go. Lots of water, too! How about you?


I'd like to join in. I am going to focus on eating right 95% of the time. I will also like to add a walk into my routine 3 times a week. 5 pounds by Halloween would be good. This is so cool!


I'm totally in. I'm 215 right now. I'd like to be 205 by halloween. I'm going to add in a run on my days off from lacrosse :-D


I'd like to join too! I'm 150 now, i'd like to be 140 by halloween. Ill do it by going on a low calorie diet (no more than 1200 daily) and doing nightly walks, as well as jogging a mile 3 times a week (like i do now).


[color=green:e7e3fdd6eb]I will Join. Latley My weight has been yo-yoing so a big goal weight is not right for this challange. Instead i will aim to do a workout video everyday, NO EXCUSES. Hopefully it will help me drop some pounds. Right now i am at 190. It's been a while since I've posted here. I don't have a pound scale so I'll shoot for 2.5 kilos. I need to not eat late at night, do my exercise dvds and not snack on garbage. The kids go back from this vacation (fall holidays) in a week, so it should be do-able.


i'm in. i weigh 145 right now. iwould like to lose at least 5 pounds by then.


YAY! I was hoping someone would post this! I am going to lose 5 lbs by Halloween! I WILL go to kickboxing class 2 days a week and I WILL walk or do my exercise DVDs 3 days a week. I WILL also keep up with my 1500 calorie a day diet! Thanks for this post! This has helped with my motivation which has been pretty low! I'm 158 now so 153 watch out here I come!! :D Callie


It's Meli, this is a great motivational tool, my goal is to exercise everyday at least 20mins and DRINK MY WATER!!!!!!I have been having a very hard time with that :wink: Meli


My goal by october 31st is to loose 10-12 pounds. I am 162.5 today, and I hope to be 150-152 by the end of october. I am doing this by eating 1200 calories a day Going to the gym 6-7 days a week, doing pilates once and week and drinking lots and lots of water. Wish me luck :wink:


Good will to everyone! I say "will" because a lot of times "luck" has very little to do with it. :D No workout for me today, but wanted to check in anyhow. No weigh in either, that it is tommorrow AM.. I will report with an update then! Hope everyone is doing well!


Hi I'm IN! I'm looking to be at 140 by the end of the month and I am planning on doing that by adding strength training to my cardio and keeping the calorie intake around 1500-1800 daily. I'm 145 now.


It's kinda late in the challenge but I'm also in. I'm currently 155, so I'll try to be 152 by Halloween. I will do this by going to the gym 4-5 days a week and sticking to my eating plan. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Then I got back on track and lost 3 of the pounds that I have pu on leaving me at 2lbs up. I didnt reach my halloween goal, i actually gained a pound. :cry:


Well I actually did pretty good! I didn't make my goal of 5 lbs but I did lose 3 lbs. I did exercise more but not as much as I should have. Did much better with my eating habits though and I think thats what paid off. So now I am carrying that momentum to November! I would like to lose 5 more lbs by Thanksgiving which is 24 days away! I'm ready for the Thanksgiving Challenge! :D Callie
