Hello my name is Chris and I have been on a 1500 calorie diet for almost a month now. I started on 9/1/04 at 335lbs and as of 9/26/04 have lost 20lbs and now weigh 315lbs. I have 2 questions. 1. Is this much weight loss to quick? 2. I accidently keep only eating 800-1000 calories a day...is this really that bad? and if so why is it my body doesn't feel hungry when it happens? Here are more details about me. 6'2 315lbs 19 Exercise 4-7 days a week. 1 day is usually a long hard walk with jogging inbetween through the local wooded park. The rest is usually 40 mins on the gazelle on the 3rd setting. in a day I will usually eat around this..I will give today as an example. Brekfast: Cereal w/ 1% milk & bannana - 295 calories Lunch: Pear & bag of soy crisps - 200 Excersize: 45 mins Gazelle, 25 Push Ups, & 50 Sit Ups Dinner: Chicken Salad w/Onions, tomatoes, carrots & light dressing - 290 Dessert: Cinnamon Apple rice cake - 60 calories Drinks: Water & 1 cup of Milk[/color:84f8b835c3] I don't want to do something that will starve my body or make me sick but I feel like im eating a well balanced day of meals and am not hungry except for maybe a bigger snack at night but I'm barely making 945 Calories. Let me know what you guys think.

Congratulations on the 20 pounds, that is wonderful!! Sounds like you have a good plan. Listen to your body when you exercise, if something hurts you stop doing it. You don't want to risk getting hurt. If you feel hungry fruits and vegetables are always a good choice for a snack :)

:welcome Sounds like you did great with your plan. 20 pounds is not too much, considering you were over 300. The weight loss may slow down a bit after the initial burst.

Congrats on the 20lbs :D :D :D The weight tends to come off fast at first, then it does slow down as your body gets used to the change. As for the low calories i would keep an eye out for any bad signs. If you start to feel off or if your hair starts to fall out than you should increase your calories. Keeping yourself healthy while losing weight is importent. Good Luck[/color:12c7d8c8fb] [b:12c7d8c8fb][u:12c7d8c8fb]Kiara[/u:12c7d8c8fb][/b:12c7d8c8fb][/color:12c7d8c8fb]
