I'M PRETTY NEW TO THIS SITE, BUT I'VE BEEN LOW-CAL-ING IT SINCE THE MIDDLE OF APRIL, LOST 30LBS, I'VE BEEN STUCK FOR A COUPLE WEEKS NOW, BUT I'VE BEEN TRYING TO STICK IT OUT. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS ABOUT NEGATIVE CALORIE FOODS, I'VE READ ABOUT THEM, THE FRUITS AND VEGETABLES THAT ARE SUPPOSE TO TAKE MORE CALORIES TO BURN THEN THEY ARE ACTUALLY WORTH. I'VE BEEN SNACKING ON THESE FOODS AND JUST WONDERING IF I CAN REALLY EAT AS MANY AS I WANT. MOSTLY CUCUMBERS, WATERMELON & PLUMS. THANKS FOR ANY INFO IN ADVANCE :) JILIANA

I believe that Negative-cal food can help those that have chosen a low cal diet. They do indeed burn more cals than they have. Basically you can eat as much of them as you want without worring about cals, but for the most part they do not have that much nutrion value so i would not recomend a diet consisting of too many negative-cals foods. I eat them inbetween meals when i get the urge to eat, that way i dont feel guilty about snacking. Hoped this helped. There are plenty of lists out there about the so-called negative-calorie foods. I have read the arguments for and against them, and I must say I'm highly sceptical about them. Still, stuff like cucumber and apples and stuff do make excellent snacks and are generally very healthy, so there's no reason not to eat plenty :)
