What time do most people end up doing their work-outs? My best time is at night but then I am energized and it makes going to sleep hard, and as an insomniac its hgard enough. I was considering beginning to workout at around 6 so I had time to do an exercise video and then shower and get ready for work. I have a variety of videos from aerobics to pilates to kickboxing but I am never sure when a good time to exercise is.


For convience i work out at 4:30 a.m. For me it is the only constant time that i am home. I have to be ready to leave for work by 6:30 so it is tight. but if i did not get my work out by the time i leave for work i can not guarentee that i will get it. See i get paid by the job and the day. Not the hour. I start everyday at 7am, but the time i get off is differnt everyday. Though it has been rare there have been times that i have gotten off at 9am, but there are also times that i work until 10pm. My average though is around 6pm. I never know when i am getting off until my boss comes and tells me that i can go home, so i never know if i can get in a workout after work. If I don't do mine in the morning, I normally don't end up going :evil: Only you know your schedule and what times work best for you. The morning is what works the best for me..


I would say that's kind of a personal issue - I usually like to get it out of the way in the morning before I start my work day, and then in the early evening I like to do 20 minutes on the tread mill at least three times a week (hoping to work up to five). I do power yoga in the morning. But it all depends on so many factors that are personal - think about a time of the day you don't have much going on and see how it works out. Or switch the times around to avoid boredom..?? Just some thoughts!


hey i tend to do mine in the evening (yoga mainly) but i wait until about 1 1/2 to 2 hours afterwards. but if i am in a better mood than normaly then i like to do aerobics early in the morning. kel xx
