Sure. Why not. Chicken is always good.
I think chicken is Okay on the Southbeach Diet.. but if you want to be sure, check the book (since I'm not the author) Turkey Breast might be another substitute..
Have you tried different ways of preparing seafood or how about tuna? Seafood is very low in calories for the most part. You can have about 2 ounces of seafood for every ounce of meat of poultry and still be consuming the same number of calories, depending on how it is prepared. Humans can actually learn to eat about anything.
Yea really, just look at soy products. We keep eating, drinking and swallowing every form of it that comes on the market. Whether it’s poisoning us or not, it’s not recommended for animal consumption but we humans keep lapping it up!
Chocolate is not recommended for animals either but we keep eating it. A bad comparison. Soy is a legume and just as good as others in moderation.
I disagree! Do some real reading on soy products! Actual studies done on soy. (boring but if you can get thru them eye opening!) Once you do I would really be suprised if you would still be saying "Soy is a legume and just as good as others in moderation." Just a little list on the info I've read about unfermented soybeans and products. 1. Causes infertility in pigs. 2. Pre-mature aging in birds. (early deaths) 3. Thyroid conditions in humans and dogs. 4. Has 15 different known allergens in them. 5. known to cause horrmonal (sp) imbalance in women. Just read this one article! You may not believe a word of it but at least you'll hear the other side. http://www.mercola.com/article/soy/avoid_soy.htm My mom died from smoking, she use to say that in the 1930's and 40's (when she grew up) that ciggeretts were also advertise as something good for you! "Soothed sore throats" (I don't know if that is true) But we all know that advertisments can be very convincing.
