My wife and I originally made this for our own use. But we thought we would *dress it up a little* so we could share it with other carb conscious folks. http://www.carbohydrate-guide.com Michael and Janis

Very interesting. Good work, but where did you get your information? I ran thru your list and there is a few things I disagree on. Soy milk is definitely "avoid like the plague!" (Soy is not what it's cracked up to be) And coconut oil is "good" (from what I’ve read)…. Medium chain fat that breaks down quickly in the system and easily used by the body.... But your list gives us a lot to look into. Thanks for your hard work!

Hi! The source of the data came directly from Dr. Agatston's Good Fats Good Carbs Guide. Michael and Janis http://www.carbohydrate-guide.com http://www.diet-track.com

He's the "South Beach" author right? I'm in the middle of reading that book right now. I have autoimmune thyroid disease so it was suggested I eat a low glycemic diet and when looking for one South Beach kept coming up. Are you and/or your wife on it? How do you think it compares to Atkins?

My wife and I are both on what we call a *modified* South Beach diet. That's the main reason we put http://www.carbgohydrate-guide.com on the net. Just got tired of looking through books. And especially when we were traveling or at work. Our heath and weight are much better now. Michael
